After suffering from childhood asthma and eczema, then recurrent urinary tract infections with no apparent medical cause that were cured with homeopathy, Helen trained as a homeopath in London.  In 1988 she became the 1000th student member of The Society of Homeopaths.  She graduated from The College of Homeopathy after four years of part-time study and 100 clinical hours in June, 1992, three months after the home-birth of her first child, at which she was attended by midwives and a homeopath.  She graduated from Jeremy Sherr's Dynamis School in 1993, locumed for several London homeopaths and moved to CA in 1998.  Helen recently completed her dissertation for the PhD in Somatic Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute, CA, and was Associate Faculty in art history at Allan Hancock College, Santa Maria, California for 12 years.
